Knotting was once one of the basic skills of survival and now a beautiful piece of art and a lucky charm. The traditional Korean decorative knots are all done by hand, without any tools and often just a single string. It’s an incredible skill to create these intricate, symmetrical shapes and having it weave back to the place that the string began.
