Shoal began as two separate illustration studios in 2015, Oh Plesiosaur (run by Serena) and Natelle Draws Stuff (run by Natelle). After many years in business and countless collaborations with each other, they decided to join forces, channelling their mutual love of nature and art into a single studio.
Items are packaged and shipped from Shoal's sunny California studio. Shoal is supervised by Frida (dog), Patch (cat), Echo (dog), and Zuul (python), whose rigorous work ethic and meticulous attention to detail inspire us all.
